Dr. Gaetano Pastena is board certified in radiology with a subspecialty/certificate of added qualification in neuroradiology. Dr. Pastena specializes in radiology and neuroradiology. He practices radiology at ImageCare Medical Imaging. Dr. Pastena served as a Clinical Fellow in neuroradiology at Massachusetts General Hospital after completing his diagnostic radiology residency at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City. He earned his medical degree at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and received an MBA in healthcare administration from the Rutgers Graduate School of Management. He began his studies at Drew University, where he received a Bachelor of Arts.

Imaging commonly used in neuroradiology includes angiography, myelography and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). Two additional years – one year of a fellowship and one year of practice or additional approved training – are required.
