Biography

Christina Alexandre is a dedicated and certified physician assistant specializing in family medicine, emergency medicine, and urgent care for patients of all ages. She earned her Master of Science from Albany Medical College and her Bachelor of Science in biology with a minor in psychology from the State University of New York at Albany. Christina is a proud member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and is fluent in French and Haitian Creole. Her medical interests include women’s health, pediatrics, and preventative medicine. Christina finds the greatest satisfaction in helping patients achieve their health goals and performing hands-on procedures, including laceration repair, orthopedic interventions, and incision and drainage.

Christina was drawn to medicine from a young age, combining her love of science with a lifelong desire to serve others. Her favorite part of the job is witnessing patients thrive—medically, personally, and within their families. She believes the cornerstone of excellent care is empathy, compassion, and trust, paired with clear communication to guide patients through every step of their health journey.

Raised in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, and later moving to Brooklyn and Long Island, Christina came to the Capital Region for her undergraduate studies and chose to make it her home, drawn by the area’s slower pace and sense of community. Outside of work, she enjoys hands-on hobbies such as painting, crocheting, sewing, sculpting, and baking. She also loves dancing, outdoor activities, and relaxing with an audiobook or podcast. Dedicated to giving back, Christina volunteers monthly with The City Mission of Schenectady, assisting with kitchen prep, dinner service, and donation sorting.
