Caroline J. Doe is a Doctor of Nursing Practice and board-certified nurse practitioner with more than 20 years of nursing experience and over a decade of advanced practice experience. She provides comprehensive, patient-centered care for individuals and families of all ages, with a strong emphasis on prevention, chronic disease management, and long-term wellness. Caroline earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice and a doctorate certificate in Educational Leadership from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona. She completed her master’s degree and post-master’s certifications at Sage Graduate School in Troy, New York, and her Bachelor of Science in nursing at Russell Sage College in Troy, New York. Caroline is board-certified as both an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner and a Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
Before transitioning into family medicine, Caroline practiced vascular surgery as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner and served as a Clinical Nurse Specialist managing patients with advanced heart failure in home settings. These experiences shaped her strong clinical foundation and deep commitment to preventive care. During her training, caring for a young patient who suffered a fatal hemorrhagic stroke due to untreated hypertension profoundly influenced her focus on aggressive blood pressure management and early intervention. Along with preventive medicine, her clinical interests include vascular disease management, diabetes care, and hypertension control. She is known for her attentive listening, patience, and collaborative approach to care. Caroline prioritizes clear communication and ensures patients understand their conditions and treatment options, empowering them to actively participate in their healthcare decisions.
Caroline’s passion for healthcare was inspired by her grandmother, a nurse-midwife who provided essential maternity care during Liberia’s civil war despite severe resource limitations—witnessing her grandmother’s resilience and compassion instilled in her a lifelong commitment to serving others. She believes healthcare is most effective when patients feel heard, informed, and empowered. Her goal is to partner with each patient to prevent illness whenever possible, manage conditions effectively when they arise, and support long-term health and well-being.
Born in Liberia, West Africa, Caroline enjoys gardening, home remodeling and interior design, watching HGTV, reading, listening to music, participating in church activities, and spending time with her husband and two children.
