Welcome, Rachel Whitney, FNP-BC, and Caitlyn Sartori, FNP-BC, to Community Care Physicians

Community Care Physicians is pleased to welcome Rachel Whitney, FNP-BC, and Caitlyn Sartori, FNP-BC, to our growing team. Both providers bring strong clinical experience, deep compassion, and a commitment to helping patients feel heard, informed, and supported in their care.

Rachel Whitney, FNP-BC — Burnt Hills Pediatrics and Internal Medicine

Rachel Whitney is a board-certified family nurse practitioner certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center at Burnt Hills Pediatrics and Internal Medicine. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Sacred Heart University and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from SUNY Plattsburgh after beginning her education at SUNY Adirondack. Before becoming a family nurse practitioner, Rachel spent more than 13 years working as a medical-surgical nurse in both rural hospitals and Level I trauma centers. These experiences shaped her patient-centered philosophy of care, grounded in careful listening, mutual respect, and compassionate treatment.

Originally from the Burnt Hills–Ballston Lake area, Rachel is proud to serve the community she calls home. She values building meaningful relationships with patients and providing care that reflects both clinical expertise and genuine understanding. Outside of work, Rachel enjoys traveling, spending time with her family, and cheering on her son at his ice hockey games. Read her bio to learn more.

Caitlyn Sartori, FNP-BC — Capital Region Women’s Care

Caitlyn Sartori is a board-certified family nurse practitioner specializing in gynecology at Capital Region Women’s Care. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Russell Sage College, her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from SUNY Delhi, and her Associate of Science in Nursing from Columbia-Greene Community College. Caitlyn spent much of her nursing career in critical care before discovering her passion for gynecology during her women and children’s clinical rotation. She was inspired by the realization that many women lack clear education about their own bodies and health. That experience now drives her commitment to empowering women with knowledge and helping them take an active role in their well-being.

Caitlyn’s favorite part of her role is teaching. She believes women deserve honest, straightforward education about what is normal and what is not as their bodies change throughout life. She prioritizes listening closely and creating a comfortable, judgment-free space—even when the conversation is sensitive. She has a particular interest in educating patients about polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) and menopause.
Outside of work, Caitlyn enjoys cheering on her two children at swim meets, as well as music, musicals, movies, and trips to the ocean. Read her bio to learn more.

We are excited to welcome Rachel and Caitlyn to Community Care Physicians and look forward to the thoughtful, high-quality care they will provide to patients and families across our community.
