Partners in Family Medicine – Cropseyville is excited to welcome Tessa LaBounty, MD, a board-certified family physician dedicated to providing thoughtful, relationship-centered primary care.
Dr. LaBounty brings a strong foundation in family medicine, earning her medical degree from SUNY Upstate in Syracuse and completing her residency at Ellis Medicine in Schenectady. Her path to medicine began at Manhattan College, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in biology and discovered that combining her love of science with caring for people was exactly where she belonged.
From the beginning of her training, Dr. LaBounty knew she wanted to build long-term relationships with patients. Today, she values caring for individuals through every stage of life and considers it a privilege to serve multiple generations of families. She prioritizes open communication, patient comfort, and truly getting to know each person she treats. Nothing is more rewarding to her than when patients feel safe enough to share their concerns openly. She also believes in staying current with evolving guidelines and continuing education to ensure the highest-quality care.
A Poestenkill native, Dr. LaBounty is thrilled to serve her community. When she’s not seeing patients, you’ll likely find her trying new restaurants, spending time with family and friends, traveling, or squeezing in a good workout.
