Dr. Catherine Wells from CCP’s ImageCare Medical Imaging talked with Jake and Dana on 100.9 The Cat about a recent study that came out last week in the New England Journal of Medicine regarding Mammography. The new study questioned the value of mammograms for breast cancer screening. However, as Dr. Wells discusses, the study has faulty assumptions which skewed the data. ImageCare still recommends mammography screenings starting at age 40 for most women.
