Melinda Guyett is a Radiologist Practitioner Assistant (RPA) and Radiologist Assistant (RA), holding a Bachelor of Science from Weber State University (summa cum laude) and an MBA from the University at Albany’s AACSB-accredited Massry School of Business (magna cum laude, class president). She is an active member of the Board for Radiology Practitioner Assistants, the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, and the American Society of Radiologic Technologists.
At CCP, Melinda combines clinical expertise with leadership, having helped launch the Cardiac Program in Radiology and pursued new business initiatives. She has a special interest in body imaging, particularly in developing one of the capital region’s first dedicated prostate imaging programs. Passionate about diagnostic accuracy, Melinda is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-focused imaging.
Inspired by her grandmother, a nurse, Melinda’s interest in healthcare began in high school, where a New Vision’s program sparked her fascination with radiology. She views image interpretation as a form of non-invasive exploration, saying, “Every image tells a story.” Her approach centers on compassion and curiosity, treating each case with the care she would give a loved one.
Originally from the Capital Region, Melinda has volunteered with Saratoga Youth Hockey Inc. for a decade, serving eight years as Executive Committee Vice President. She spearheaded the “Growing the Game” initiative with the New York Rangers to make hockey accessible to all children. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family at the lake, on sports fields, and at dance studios.
