Originally from the Capital Region, Christina earned her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in applied science from the State University of New York Institute of Technology in Utica, NY. Christina is a member of the American Nurses Credentialing Center.

Christina was hit by a car at a very young age, leading to many ER visits and surgeries. The doctors and nurses that cared for her were so kind that their excellent patient care inspired her to pursue a career in medicine just like them. What Christina loves most about her job is getting to know her patients, especially during the initial consultation. She also loves having the opportunity to train NP and PA students during their clinical contact rotations.

When it comes to caring for patients, she believes listening to the patients’ concerns is most important. At Sunnyview Hospital and Rehabilitation Center, Christina’s job is to treat patients with rehabilitative issues and internal medicine concerns. Alongside Dr. Hani Shahata and Dr. Cindy Chan, supervising physicians at Sunnyview, Christina offers medical consults for patients’ medical needs.

Christina has a particular interest in disease prevention and geriatrics. In her spare time, she volunteers at a local church as the Parish nurse. She also spends a lot of time with family, hiking, biking, and enjoys visiting her camp.
