Community Care Physicians Moves into newly built Delaware Avenue Health Park in Delmar,NY at the corner of Delaware and Elsmere Avenue.

Delmar, NY (4/13/2012) — On Friday, April 13, Community Care Physicians (CCP) began moving its offices, currently located at 250 Delaware Avenue, to the newly completed Delaware Avenue Health Park located at the corner of Elsmere and Delaware Avenue. The move will be conducted in stages with the final move expected to be completed in early fall 2012. The afternoon of April 16, CCP will be open for patient care in the new facility.

The new 48,000 square foot multi-specialty medical building, located on this prominent corner in Delmar, is the culmination of more than two year's worth of planning and construction. Community Care Physicians will occupy nearly 23,000 square feet on the first floor of the Delaware Avenue Health Park, nearly doubling the square footage CCP held at its former location. CCP is consolidating several of its primary care and specialty offices from Delmar and Albany including The Office of Dr. Fruiterman, Dr. Greenblatt and Dr. Maier; The Office of Dr. Bertram and Dr. Patil; ImageCare Medical Imaging; The Office of Dr. Baselice; The Audiology Center; Community Care Podiatry; Community Care Physical Therapy; lab draw; a satellite location for Albany Family Practice Group; and an Urgent Care Center for after hours care.

Community Care partnered with BBL Construction Services, LLC to design and build this new facility; management of the Delaware Avenue Health Park will be by Carrow Real Estate, LLC. The shared waiting area on the first floor of this building was designed with the help of BBL interior designers to create a custom branded look for Community Care Physicians. The early part of May will be used to demolish the old building and create additional patient parking.

"We are excited to finish renovations and move into a location where we can better serve our patients," said Gene Fine, Director of Operations at Community Care Physicians "Consolidating into one building allows Community Care to create another location in the Capital Region that serves as a one-stop shop for patients. The new facility will provide patients greater access to important medical services that are provided in a state-of-the-art medical facility."

In addition to relocating several medical offices, the Delaware Avenue Health Park will allow Community Care Physicians to expand its wellness services in the area. In early summer, CCP plans to open a second location for its gym, WORxKOUT the Fitness Center at Community Care, in the Delmar facility. CCP opened its first gym location in its flagship building at The Capital Region Health Park in Latham back in 2008.

"Our new facility will provide an excellent work environment for employees as well as a beautiful setting in which our patients will receive their care," added Fine.

The address for the new facility will remain 250 Delaware Avenue, Delmar, NY 12054. Patients will begin seeing their doctors in the new Delaware Avenue Health Park effective the afternoon of April 16th.
