Meet the newest members of our team of midwives!

Padi Sutherland, CNM

"I really enjoy caring for women through providing comfortable annual exams, exploring family planning and birth control options, helping to solve gynecologic problems, and being a supportive guide for pregnancy-related healthcare. Birth is my passion, and I strive to create space within which women and their families feel informed and supported in their own birth choices."

Padi Sutherland is a Certified Nurse Midwife who grew up in England and later moved to the Unites States in pursuit of higher education and changing seasons. This landed in her Florida where she attended the University of Florida, College of Nursing in Gainesville, FL, and received both her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing and Master of Science Degree in Nursing. Padi is a member of the American College of Nurse Midwives. Padi chose to specialize in midwifery because she enjoys taking care of women, providing them with informed choices and consent in healthcare. She has a special medical interest in pregnancy and pre-natal care, birth control, and teen health. In her spare time, Padi enjoys spending time with her husband and kids, exercising, gardening, and traveling. She also likes to engage in her community by volunteering for BOCES Art in Education service.
