Community Care Physicians announced that Dr. Ronald Musto has been named CEO, replacing Dr. Shirish Parikh, who has been leading the organization since its founding in 1984.The physicians’ group has traditionally had a practicing physician as its CEO. Musto is a primary care physician from Troy who has held many executive positions at Community Care Physicians in the past, including chief medical officer and deputy CEO. Dr. Musto’s appointment was planned “several years ago,” according to the company. Parikh, a radiologist, will continue to serve on the Community Care Physicians board of directors.
