Sara Giacchetta is a certified physician assistant. She received her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in Worcester, MA, and her Bachelor of Science in biology and psychology from the State University of New York at Albany. Sara has a particular interest in disease prevention, heart health, and mental health.

From an early age, Sara had always been drawn to medicine and science. She loves helping people, and working in a hospital during her college years solidified her decision to pursue a career as a physician assistant. What Sara loves most about her job is helping improve the quality of life of her patients and helping them throughout different stages of life. She believes communication and listening to her patients are very important. Sara enjoys working with her patients to develop a plan that will help them succeed in meeting their goals and improving their health.

Sara is originally from the Capital Region and moved back to Saratoga Springs because it’s a beautiful area close to many activities and the Adirondacks, and she believes it’s a great place to practice medicine. When not working, Sara enjoys running, hiking, and spending time with her family and dog.
