Each patient that has crossed my path during my career has served a purpose by teaching me lessons about medicine, human nature, or life itself.

Originally from Guilderland, Jodi Conlan, MSN, AGNP, earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from the State University of New York at Brockport in Brockport, NY. She then went on to receive her master’s degree in nursing from the University of South Alabama in Mobile, AL. Jodi treats patients ages 13 years and older at CapitalCare Pulmonary Medicine and Tech Valley Sleep Center of Community Care Physicians in Niskayuna, NY.

Jodi is a certified adult-gerontology nurse practitioner and a certified oncology nurse. She is a part of multiple associations and societies, including the Oncology Nursing Society, the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, and the Golden Key International Honors Society.

Jodi chose to be a healthcare professional instinctively as she was drawn to help people. Since entering the healthcare field, she quickly learned that being able to serve others during their time of need is a true blessing. She particularly enjoys empowering people to take control of their lives and improve what can be controlled and emotionally support and guide them through situations out of their control.

When Jodi isn’t working, she enjoys being in nature, gardening, and spending time with her family at their camp in the Adirondacks. She also has a love for animals and enjoys rescuing animals in need.
