Dr. Bryan Goddard received his medical degree from New York Medical College in Valhalla, New York, and completed a family medicine residency at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital in Greensboro, North Carolina. Biology was his favorite subject in high school, which inspired his decision to earn his bachelor’s degree in biology from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York.
Dr. Goddard practiced family medicine in Gloversville, New York, before teaching for 23 years in family practice residencies in Johnson City, NY, and Kansas City, MO. He came “home” in 2010 for family reasons and joined CapitalCare Family Practice Ravena and has been treating patients here ever since. Dr. Goddard’s favorite part of working in family medicine is helping patients understand their illness, getting to know patients and their families, and treating them holistically.
Dr. Goddard volunteers at Newtonville United Methodist Church, where he teaches bible study. He also enjoys landscaping and hiking during his spare time.
