CapitalCare Family Practice Slingerlands

For urgent matters outside of our normal business hours, please call our office and our answering service will page the on-call provider.

CapitalCare Family Practice Slingerlands will be administering flu vaccines by appointment only this year during scheduled flu clinics and your regularly scheduled visits. Call the office at (518) 439-2460 to schedule your appointment now if you don’t already have one. Family Practice Slingerlands will be holding Flu Clinics on Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings in October. Please try to have your Flu Vaccine Screening Form filled out prior to coming to your appointment as well. For the safety of our staff and other patients, please do not come to your scheduled appointment if you have COVID symptoms and/or have traveled out of New York State in the past 14 days. We ask that you only bring a visitor with you if medically necessary, and if you do have anyone else with you, he/she also needs to be symptom-free and masked. Thank you.

Our office takes lunch daily from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm. Phone hours Monday from 8:00 am - 4:00 pm, Tuesday from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm, Wednesday & Thursday from 8:00 am - 4:00 pm, and Friday from 7:00 am - 3:00 pm.

Please call our office first before coming in if you are ill to avoid the potential of unnecessarily exposing other patients and our staff to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). While we don’t currently offer walk-in hours, our practitioners are easily accessible to care for you in multiple ways, including over the phone, using a video visit (telemedicine), or in the office while following strict infection control procedures to keep you safe. Whatever your need, you should call our office and our team will determine the best way to care for you.

Telemedicine is a great alternative to coming into the office. It allows your practitioner at our office to see you face-to-face while you remain safely at home. The process is simple. You don’t need any apps, software, or accounts. All you need is a smartphone, tablet, or computer, and a reliable connection (wi-fi or cellular). Just click the link we send to you and, when prompted, enable your camera and microphone. Due to these challenging times with the COVID crisis, there’s no fee for your telehealth visit for the vast majority of patients, and your visit is documented in your medical record. Make sure to call our office for any routine visit or problem you may have so we can maintain your continuity of care. We don’t know exactly when this crisis will end, so we want to be sure you receive the care you need now.
