Dr. Edward Foley is a board member of the National Board of Osteopathic Medicine Examiners as well as a diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine. He earned his medical degree in osteopathic medicine from the New York School of Osteopathic Medicine, then proceeded to complete two internships in internal medicine from Beth Israel Medical Center and St. Clare’s Hospital and Health Center. Dr. Foley holds a fellowship in geriatrics from Albany Medical Center where he also completed his residency.
Dr. Foley always envisioned being a general community physician and, with his particular passion for geriatric medicine, he decided to specialize in internal medicine and geriatrics. He also has a medical interest in obesity and wellness. Dr. Foley’s favorite part of his job is interacting with his patients and their families and helping them to be involved in health decisions.
In his spare time, Dr. Foley spends his weekends raising his three dogs, working out, gardening, and caring for his family.
