Erin Stemper graduated from Ithaca College in 2003 with a Master of Science in Physical Therapy. She is certified by the McKenzie Institute in Mechanical Diagnosis and Treatment of the spine. Erin's interests include treatment of the spine using the McKenzie Method, shoulder and knee injuries, vestibular problems, and running and swimming injuries. Erin grew up in central New York but moved to the Capital Region with her husband in 2006.
As an athlete growing up (a competitive swimmer from age 7 through college), Erin always had an interest in how the body moves. During high school, she considered pursuing a career in medicine and ultimately decided to become a physical therapist after shadowing her neighbor who was a physical therapist. What Erin loves most about her job is connecting with patients and seeing them improve and return to doing the things they love with less pain.
Outside of work, Erin enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, hiking, going to sporting events, and reading.
