“An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.” - Benjamin Franklin
Charles Saxe is a certified physical therapist at Community Care Physical Therapy. He primarily practices at the Latham, NY, location at 711 Troy-Schenectady Road, Suite 103. Charles is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association. He received his Doctor of Physical Therapy from Sage Graduate School in Troy, NY, and his Bachelor of Science in biochemistry from Siena College in Loudonville, NY. Charles has previous experience working with diverse patient populations, including postoperative care, deconditioning, and neuromuscular disorders. He is a thorough practitioner who hopes to help patients improve and achieve their goals in a timely manner.
Charles knew he wanted to help people and first discovered physical therapy after shadowing a physical therapist who corrected an apparent leg length difference (which is not always possible with PT). After that, he was fascinated by physical therapy and still is today. Charles believes educating patients is the most important thing when caring for his patients. In addition, he finds order and timing of exercise can be critical in recovery.
Charles is originally from the Clifton Park, NY area and loves giving back to the community where he grew up.
