Originally from Rochester, Brenna earned her Master of Science degree in physician assistant studies from SUNY Upstate Medical University and received her Bachelor of Science degree in neuroscience and psychology from Syracuse University. Brenna is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
Brenna always wanted to pursue a career in medicine. It was her roommate from college who introduced her to the physician assistant field. Since then, Brenna knew being a PA was the career for her. Since she was a child, she was fascinated with neurology, and books about the brain—the field of neuroscience and the complexity of how the brain works amazed her.
What Brenna loves most about being a PA is building relationships with her patients and being there for them in their time of need. She believes being an active listener and empathizing with her patients' experiences is most important for quality care. Brenna is a provider that cares deeply about her patients as a whole and aims to improve their physical well-being while also being sensitive to their emotional needs.
Brenna finds herself to be a plant lady! She loves tending to her many plants, baking, playing with her dog, reading, and traveling.
