Kristen always loved science and working with people. Medicine allowed her to combine these two qualities into a career she is passionate about. Her most significant influence on going to PA school was an extremely motivated and ambitious PA that she shadowed in Albany. He spoke about medicine with such pride that made Kristen want to follow in his footsteps.
Kristen's favorite part of her job is interacting with new people daily. She is excited to build strong relationships with patients, educate them on their health, and practice preventative medicine, all of which she believes is very important for improving overall health. Kristen believes communication is one of the most important aspects of patient care. She thinks being able to build strong patient-provider relationships is essential for better outcomes. Kristen wants to be there to better her patients' lives. She cares about the physical, mental, and social components of their health and will do whatever she can to keep them healthy and happy!
In her spare time, Kristen loves to stay active, going hiking, and travel. She has been to many countries, such as Australia, where she studied biology at Griffith University, Thailand, and France, and traveled across the United States. She also loves spending time with close friends and family.
