Originally from Cohoes, Jack earned his Bachelor of Science degree in athletic training from Marist College. He proceeded to receive his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Sage Graduate School. Jack obtained his certification as both a Licensed Physical Therapist and a Licensed Athletic Trainer. He is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association, the New York Physical Therapy Association, the American Academy of Sports Physical Therapy, and the National Athletic Trainers Association.
Jack was always fascinated by how the body works, especially during athletic events. After completing his undergraduate degree in athletic training, Jack felt like there was still more to learn to help him better treat his patients. Physical Therapy allowed Jack not only to broaden his variety of treatment options for areas outside of athletes but also provided him with even more insight into how he could treat the athletic population. Jack's favorite part of being a physical therapist is the relationships he creates with his patients. He feels fortunate as a therapist to meet amazing people with amazing stories that make treatment sessions fun and allows him to develop and adapt goals specific to his patients.
When it comes to caring for patients, Jack believes being a good listener and truly understanding the patient's physical therapy goals is crucial as a physical therapist. He thinks this helps make treatment sessions more individualized and creates an enjoyable environment that will make PT sessions relaxing and productive for his patients. Jack prides himself as a clinician in connecting with all of his patients and always making them feel welcomed and important. He likes to cater to each individual's treatment sessions that will maximize therapeutic benefits while creating an enjoyable environment. Jack has over seven years of patient care experience working with athletes, cardiopulmonary patients, oncology patients, and the general population. Jack is confident that he can find a way to make physical therapy unique, enjoyable, and productive every visit.
Jack has a particular interest in general physical therapy, sports-related injuries, and returning to sport/activity treatments. Jack is conversational Spanish speaking. In his spare time, Jack enjoys exercising, playing golf and going skiing, traveling with friends and family, and trying out new foods.
