Patricia Carreau, PT, DPT
Originally from Canada, Patricia earned her Bachelor of Science degree in human biology from the State University of New York at Albany. She proceeded to receive her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Sage Graduate School.
After moving around a lot as a child, Patricia settled down in the Capital Region and is excited to work at Community Care Physical Therapy. Patricia always had an interest in working with people. She loves seeing patients progress and achieving their goals. When it comes to caring for patients, Patricia believes listening to the patient verbally, and their body is important for quality care.
Patricia finds herself a gentle and quiet person, which some might prefer in their physical therapist. She has a particular interest in neurological conditions and pediatrics. Patricia uses a method called LSVT BIG, which is an effective and one-on-one treatment used to help people with Parkinson's disease and other neurological conditions. During college, Patricia had the opportunity to write a research paper on cardiovascular health in children. She is also fluent in French!
In her spare time, Patricia enjoys hiking and cooking.
