Dr. Areta Marta Pidwerbetsky is a bilingual radiologist, fluent in Ukrainian. She earned her medical degree from State University of New York, Stony Brook, NY. She completed her residency and served as Chief Resident in radiology at Albany Medical Center following her internship in Internal Medicine from the University of Connecticut, School of Medicine, Farmington, CT. Dr. Pidwerbetsky received her Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from Cooper Union, New York, NY. She is affiliated with the Radiological Society of North America and the American College of Radiology. She is currently Chief of Staff–elect Ellis Medical Staff, and Chairman of the Medical Imaging Department and Radiation Safety. She serves on the Board of Directors and Peer Review Committee of Mohawk Valley Medical Associates.
Dr. Pidwerbetsky grew up in Schenectady and loves working in and serving her community. As an engineer, she found Radiology the perfect integration of medicine, science, and technology. In her spare time, Dr. Pidwerbetsky loves to run and ride her horse.
