Emily, originally from Palmyra, NY, received her Master of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Chatham University following her Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science from SUNY Buffalo. She is NCCPA board certified and is affiliated with the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Pennsylvania Society of Physician Assistants.
Before joining Community Care Physicians, Emily tried a few different medical fields before deciding to work as a Physician Assistant. After learning about pharmacy, physical therapy, and exercise medicine, she decided to choose the career a physician assistant so she could interact and engage with patients, which is her favorite part of the job. Emily enjoyed learning the fundamentals of health and appreciates Community Care Physicians for the opportunity and growth it allows. Her special interests within medicine include exercise science, preventive medicine, and forming relationships with patients.
When not working, Emily enjoys DIY projects, including home décor, she also likes playing with her dogs, hiking and spending time outside.
