“Patients have taught me to always keeping smiling and make physical therapy fun and positive, even when it isn’t always enjoyable.”
Ashlee earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology with a concentration in Pre-Physical Therapy from Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts, as well as her Associates Degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant from Berkshire Community College. She was born and raised in the Capital Region with a high interest in athletics, sports-related injuries, orthopedic/post-operative injuries, and geriatric patients.
Prior to joining Community Care Physical Therapy, Ashlee worked in a hospital setting, outpatient, and nursing home facilities. Ashlee chose to specialize in physical therapy because she was always involved in sports and witnessed several injuries. This led to her interest in learning how to fix and heal the body. Her favorite part of the job is getting to see patients’ outcomes and watching them reach their goals.
When Ashlee isn’t working, she enjoys coaching Varsity high school soccer, as well as playing soccer in Averill Park. She also likes to spend time with her family and her dogs.
