Payment and Insurance



Do I need insurance to use VICA?

You do not need insurance and we do not submit a claim to your insurance. Not all insurance companies cover telemedicine at this point in time. While there is no fee to download VICA, there is a $45 fee per visit to you.


What is included in my fee?

For each visit, you will be charged a $45 fee. This includes a consultation with a provider to discuss the issue at hand, with treatment and recommendations based on dialogue and presentation. This includes diagnosing and treating conditions, prescribing medication when appropriate, recommending local specialists and hospitals, answering medical questions, providing wellness, weight loss and fitness instruction, and diagnostic and preventative testing when appropriate.


How am I billed?

You can either pay the fee via telephone with a credit card or debit card, or a bill can be sent to you.


Do I get charged if my issue cannot be handled in the VICA app?

If it is determined that your issue is not suitable for VICA, you will not be charged for initiating an appointment. The Concierge will be useful in determining if you should use VICA and if your virtual visit is scheduled. To avoid any unwanted fees, please be sure to explain to the Concierge the exact reason why you are seeking care so they can triage your call appropriately.


Can I use my HRA, FSA or HSA account to pay for your services?

Most likely yes. You should always check with your account administrator before using your benefit money.
