VICA can be downloaded from the App Store. Once downloaded, simply register and request a virtual appointment. In the appointment, you can see the Community Care Physicians' provider and the provider can see you.
There is no fee to download the VICA app from the App Store. Similar to an appointment at your doctor’s office, there is a fee for your visit with the practitioner. VICA costs $45 a visit. The advantage is that you don’t have to travel to the doctor’s office or take a morning off of work. You are seen for your appointment in a location convenient for you – at home, at work, or anywhere in New York State.
Your visit fee includes consultation with a provider to discuss the issue at hand, with treatment and recommendations based on dialogue and presentation (such as prescriptions, recommendation of specialists, and testing when appropriate). VICA offers convenience care and is not a part of medical benefit. However, you can submit for reimbursement through HRA (health reimbursement account) or flexible spending account. If you are written a prescription during the visit, the prescription will apply to your medical benefit.
