When it comes to managing all aspects of vascular health, our fundamental approach is patient centric. Vascular care begins from identifying all risk factors and establishing a patient specific game plan that addresses all aspects of best medical, minimally invasive endovascular, and surgical options for the patients. At the core of Vascular Health Partners, establishing relationships with our patients, advocating for each person, and ensuring best outcomes are of utmost importance.

As vascular surgeons our primary goal is to provide the highest level of vascular expertise, and are laser focused on delivering the best technical outcomes for our patients, and our communities. We take great pride in providing the highest level of vascular care for patients with all aspects of diagnostic and therapeutic vascular disease including peripheral arterial disease, aortic aneurysms & dissections, carotid stenosis and stroke prevention, and venous disease.

Vascular education, awareness, innovation, and research have been the building blocks of the foundation of Vascular Health Partners. Our surgeons have partnered with the Center for Vascular Awareness, a not-for-profit organization, and helped established premier worldwide vascular education and awareness programs, including:

  • Albany Vascular Roundtable: This CME credited program was founded in 2008 and since is held several times a year. The Vascular Roundtables focus on all aspects of cardiovascular health and create an opportunity for world-renowned vascular specialist to visit our communities and share their thoughts on how to best identify and manage vascular health and disease. This program is generally attended by over 300 health care providers, and to date has impacted thousands of health care providers in the capital region.
  • Albany Vascular International Academy (AVIA): Founded in 2012, this program provides training opportunity for physicians from across the globe. Each year, dozens of vascular specialists from Europe, China, Japan, Korea, India, Brazil, and Mexico have participated in AVIA, and have had the opportunity to learn from and collaborate with Vascular Health Partners. This collaboration allows for a paradigm shift in vascular healthcare delivery in underserved countries worldwide.
  • VAST3™ (Vascular Techniques and Technology Think-Tank): In collaboration with Albany Medical Center, this CME credited vascular education program was founded in 2013. Each year over a 100 Vascular Specialists from across the globe participate in this 3-day meeting that focuses discussions on complex vascular problems that we face everyday. This meeting allows vascular specialist and scientists to share ideas, techniques, and technology to provide the highest level of care for our patients.
  • V-Aware: Founded in 2008, this patient centric 'Vascular Journal' is designed to provide cardiovascular education and awareness to the health care providers as well as the public. Each journal focuses on specific topics including Vascular Medicine, Aortic Aneurysms & Dissections, Peripheral Arterial Disease, Carotid Occlusive Disease,& Stroke, Deep Vein Thrombosis, Pulmonary Embolism, Men’s Health, Women’s Health, Heart and Vascular Innovation, etc.

Innovation & Research are the building blocks for improvements in our ability to offer the most cutting edge technology and techniques to our patients. Surgeons of the Vascular Health Partners have collaborated with pharmaceutical, biomedical, and vascular device companies in developing innovative therapies for managing vascular disease, have published well over a 150 articles in peer review journals, and have presented hundreds of lectures on all aspects of vascular health and disease.

Currently there are numerous ongoing vascular clinical trials on peripheral arterial disease, aneurysms and dissections, stroke prevention and treatment, and venous disease.
