Professional Staff
Megan Almond, MD, FAAP
Dr. Megan Almond graduated from James Madison University in 2001 with a B.S. degree in health science and minors in biology and public health. She received her medical degree from the American University of the Caribbean in St. Maarten, NA in 2008. In June of 2011 Dr. Almond completed her pediatric residency at Albany Medical Center in Albany, New York.
Dr. Almond is board certified and a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Before attending medical school, she worked as a research data coordinator and a research compliance specialist with MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas.
Dr. Almond joined Community Care Pediatrics of Saratoga in July 2011. Her professional interests include childhood literacy, pediatric dermatology and international medicine.
When Dr. Almond is not seeing patients, her personal interests include cooking, traveling, reading, boating, and pilates/yoga. She also enjoys spending time with her husband, their kids, and their two pointers at home.

Emanuel Cirenza, MD, FAAP
Dr. Emanuel Cirenza graduated from Siena College with a B.S degree in Biology and Chemistry in 1990 and received his medical degree from the SUNY Health Science Center at Syracuse in 1994. He completed his internship and residency at the Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Virginia in 1997. During that same year he joined Community Care Physicians' pediatric office in Saratoga and still practices there today.
He has been Board Certified by the American Board of pediatrics since 1998 and he is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Dr. Cirenza is active in the Saratoga Springs community where he works year round on behalf of children's literacy programming, serves on the Board of the Saratoga Center for the Family and is on the Board of Wilton Youth Baseball. Dr. Cirenza is a recipient of Community Care Physicians' 2004 Caring for Our Community Award in recognition of his outstanding volunteer efforts in support of children's literacy, youth Soccer and Baseball.
When not working or volunteering he enjoys hiking and participating in triathlons. Dr. Cirenza lives in the Greater Saratoga region with his wife and three children, Allison 15 yrs old, Ian 13 yrs old, and Sam 9 yrs old.

Jami Hawthorne, MD, FAAP
Dr. Jami Hawthorne graduated from St. Lawrence University, Cum Laude in Biology with a B.S degree in 1988. She attended SUNY Buffalo for Graduate work in Oncology and received her medical degree from the University of Vermont College of Medicine in 1993. In 1996 Dr. Hawthorne completed her pediatric residency as Chief Resident at the University of New Mexico Health Science Center.
Dr. Hawthorne has been Board Certified by the American Academy of Pediatrics since 1997. She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, the Medical Society of New York State and the Jefferson County Medical Society.
Dr. Hawthorne practices with Community Care Pediatrics in Saratoga and is actively involved in the Saratoga Community. She speaks Spanish fluently and has a special interest in working with her patients and their families to assure that all children have the opportunity to reach their fullest mental and physical potential. Dr. Hawthorne lives in the Greater Saratoga region.

Stephanie Jorgensen, MD, FAAP
Dr. Jorgensen received her BA degree from Siena College in Loudonville and her medical degree from Albany Medical College in Albany, New York. She completed her residency as Associate Chief-Resident at Albany Medical Center Hospital from 1997 to 2000. Dr. Jorgensen is Board Certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and belongs to the American Academy of Pediatrics, MVMA Physicians and is an Instructor for the Neonatal Resuscitation Program.
Dr. Jorgensen worked at Glens Falls Pediatrics from 2000 to 2010. During this time she was also the District Physician for Lake George Central Schools. She began working at Community Care Physicians September 2010.

Laura Lecours, MD, FAAP
Dr. LeCours graduated from Mount Holyoke College Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa with a B.S in Biochemistry in 1981. She received her medical degree at Albany Medical College, Cum Laude in 1985 and completed her pediatric residency and internship at Albany Medical Center Hospital in Albany, New York in from 1985 to 1989. She has been Board Certified by the American Academy of Pediatrics since 1989.
Dr. LeCours was the Chairperson of the Pediatrics Department in Saratoga Hospital from 1992-1994. From 1994 to 1989 she practiced pediatric medicine with Dr. Charles Richman in Saratoga Springs. At the same time in 1994 she began her affiliation with Saratoga Medical Associates in Gansevoort, NY. She has been a Pediatrician at this site ever since.
Dr. Lecours is affiliated with Saratoga Hospital and Four Winds; both located in Saratoga Springs, New York. She is a member of the AMA, the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Saratoga County Medical Association.
Dr. LeCours has special clinical interests in the areas of infectious disease and nutrition. She is married with two children, an active and talented member of her church choir, and has been living and practicing in the Saratoga area for more than ten years.

Anne Marthy-Noonan, MD, FAAP
Dr. Marthy-Noonan graduated from the College of St. Rose, Cum Laude with a B.A. 1975. She received her medical degree at Albany Medical College, in 1980 and completed her pediatric residency and internship at the United States Navy Hospital in San Diego, California from 1980 to 1984. She has been Board Certified by the American Academy of Pediatrics since 1985 and is certified in both Basic Life Support and Advanced Life Support since 1979. She is a Fellow in the American Academy of Pediatrics.
In 1981 Dr. Noonan began her career as a General Medical Officer on the USS Dixie AD14 in San Diego, California. She then became a Staff Physician in the Department of Pediatrics at the Naval Hospital in Groton Connecticut from 1984 to 1986. From 1990 to today Dr. Noonan has worked with Community Care Physicians as a Pediatrician in the Saratoga (Gansevoort) office.
Dr. Noonan brings a comprehensive approach to the health of children she cares for and works with parents to promote literacy, physical fitness and healthy nutrition for their children. She cares for children from infancy through college age and has lived in the Saratoga area for close to 25 years.

Barbara Morris, MD, FAAP
Dr. Morris received her BS Cum Laude from Damien College in Amherst, New York. She earned her Medical Degree and completed her internship and residency from SUNY Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse, New York. After Dr. Morris' residency she completed her Fellowship in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine at the Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh Pennsylvania.
Her working career began immediately after her Fellowship in 1980 as the Director of the Pediatric ICU and the Director of Pediatric Inpatient Services at Hartford Hospital in Connecticut until 1988. Dr. Morris became the Director and then the Section Chief of the Pediatric ICU of Critical Care Medicine in Kansas City Missouri until 1992.
Dr. Morris has participated in multiple academic activities, courses and conferences as develop faculty and student and has been on multiple hospital practice and community committees. She has more than 25 years of experience in clinical, academic and leadership roles within the field of Pediatric medicine.
As Chief Medical Officer for Community Care Physicians, she is charged with the ongoing implementation and support of a connected health care community. As a practicing pediatrician and an administrator, Dr. Morris has utilized and promoted widespread adoption of Electronic Health Records, patient portals, kiosk registrations and mobile devices to improve efficiency and quality of medical care in our community.
Throughout her career, Dr .Morris has developed new and innovative clinical programs, overseen the education of young physicians and medical students and managed several pediatric departments and subdivisions.
Dr. Morris has served as a board member of several health care institutions in the area and currently is the Executive Vice President of the Board at Community Care Physicians, P.C.

Charles Richman, MD, FAAP
Dr. Richman received his Bachelors degree from Duke University and his medical Degree from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, North Carolina. He completed his internship at Chapel Hill and pediatric residency at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville.
Dr. Richman had a pediatric private practice in Saratoga Springs for twenty years. In 1994 he became a member of Saratoga Medical Associates, PC in Gansevoort, NY and continues to practice there today.
Dr. Richman is a certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. He is a member of the American Medical Association and the American Academy of Pediatrics He cares for children from infancy through college years and provides a comprehensive approach to the health and development of children under his care.
Dr. Richman enjoys hiking and cross country skiing and has lived and worked in the Saratoga area for the duration of his career.

Jennifer Shulof, NP
Jennifer Shulof received her BS degree, and completed her Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Program, earning her MS Degree from Syracuse University. She holds a Registered Nurse and Pediatric Nurse Practitioner license as well as an American Nurses Credentialing Certification. Her professional memberships include the National Coalition of Nurse Practitioners and the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Associates and Practitioners.
Jennifer has teaching experience at several institutions as a Clinical Preceptor, Lab Instructor and Clinical Instructor. Ms. Shulof worked at as a Staff Nurse in Rochester and Syracuse from 1993 to 1996. In 1996 she began her career as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and eventually moved to this area in 2001, working at Four Seasons Pediatrics in Clifton Park, Adirondack Pediatrics and finally Community Care Pediatrics in Saratoga in 2009.
