Dr. Stone has always had a strong interest in psychology, human behavior, wellness, and helping others live their best life possible by overcoming and managing difficult issues and life stressors. Originally from downstate, Westchester County, she traveled upstate to attend Skidmore College and made her home in the Capital District.
Coinciding with her interests, she acknowledges the mind-body-spirit connection and the affect one system has on the other. Experienced in mental health counseling and private practice, along with fitness and wellness training, she now finds multiple benefits in integrated primary care using the team approach to treating her patients. As the Director of Behavioral Health for CCP, she is excited to be involved in the proliferation of both the clinical and organizational components of integrated behavioral health care as she is active in research, presenting, and publishing.
Outside of work she enjoys running, weight training, spending time with her family (human and furry) and friends, playing the piano, reading, and enjoying and appreciating what life brings.
