Morgon Fernaays is physical therapist at Community Care Physical Therapy, practicing primarily in Latham at the Capital Region Health Park. He knew early on that Physical Therapy was his passion.
"I chose to pursue a career as a healthcare professional after my own personal experience with physical therapy after a shoulder surgery in high school. I saw physical therapy as an opportunity to help people physically and emotionally as you work with them throughout their rehabilitation. I genuinely enjoy this field of work, the treatments we utilize, the patients I am able to connect with, and hope to become a known and respected member or this field."
Morgon received his Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University at Buffalo, The State University of New York. He completed his clinical rotation in facilities across the Capital Region, focusing on outpatient physical therapy and orthopedics, inpatient acute care, and sub-acute rehabilitation. He has a specific interest in hands on manual therapy. He enjoys the one-on-one connection he has with patients. Morgon was the President of the University at Buffalo Bass Fishing Club. Originally from New York, he returned to this area with his family and he looks forward to finding local spots for fishing!
