Jennifer Hale, originally from Scotia, earned her Bachelor Degree in Biology from SUNY Cortland in Cortland, NY. She then went on to receive her Master of Science Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Clarkson University in Potsdam, NY. Jennifer is a Certified Physician Assistant and is a student member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants. During her studies, she participated in a research study about BMI education of providers and the effect it has on patients.
Jennifer knew since high school that wanted a career in medicine. She chose to pursue a career in healthcare because she loves the continuous learning experience from her patients and the advances in medicine. She chose to specialize in family medicine because she enjoys the scope of ages she gets to see, treating an infant one day and a geriatric patient the next day. She also wanted to be able to treat the whole patient, instead of focusing on one area of their health. Jennifer has a special interest in infectious diseases and prevention, pediatrics and women’s health. Jennifer is certified in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support.
When Jennifer isn’t working, she likes to spend time with her family and enjoys traveling.
