Dr. Elacqua is Board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She received her Doctor of Medicine degree from Universita Degli Studi Roma in Rome, Italy and then returned to the Capital Region to complete her internship and residency training in the Department of OB/GYN at Albany Medical Center Hospital. Dr. Elacqua is the current Chairman of the Ob/Gyn Department at Samaritan Hospital. She has held this position for the last six years. Dr Elacqua has special interests in menopause management, adolescent gynecology, advanced pelviscopic surgery as well as botanical and herbal medicine. Dr. Elacqua practices in Clifton Park, Rensselaer, and Troy.
